Apparently, Little Caesars Arena is getting an organ. Also, the Red Wings locker room is 26,000 square feet. They have some of the stalls already installed. They also have their own kitchen/lounge, pool/hot tub/cold tub/sauna. All the coaches offices and video rooms are all in the same area, unlike The Joe. They also have lockers like they did at The Joe. They also have their own theater. Their weight room looks at the Practice Rink and above the weight room is the family lounge. Also, the Little Caesars AAA have their own dressing room in the practice facility. The concourse that is surrounded by glass is actually plastic and it has a dome effect and there is a system that helps to get rid of the greenhouse effect. This has been used at the US Bank Stadium but the first to be used in an arena. Inside the main bowl the roof has LED lights and they will be used for intros and when the Wings score/win and for the Pistons. Also, the club that is by the Wings dressing room can see the Wings go on and come in from the ice as well as the visiting team. They have already started moving stuff from The Joe and The Palace to LCA. The Zambonis have been moved to LCA and some other equipment for the Wings and they are continuing inventory lists and I believe they will have an auction at The Joe in August with demolition starting in September. The Pistons have already moved their banners to LCA with one retired banner hanging inside LCA. I can't wait to see the arena when it is finished and I can't wait to go to a Wings game and a Pistons game.

The day JLA meets the wreckers will be a sad day in Wings history, but I assume it was an afterthought when the Olympia met the wrecking ball in 1986 due to how bad that area got years after the riots.
Little Caesar's sounds like it's littearly the "Red Wing Experience" turned up to 11.

Joe Louis is such a concrete-and-steel bunker I can't imagine how much dynamite they'll need to take it down.

Ok so it's been about a month and a half now since the Red Wings have played in the building and we know a few things now: - Holy crap that scoreboard is massive
- The acoustics are horrible for goal horns, they had to use a recording for the time being, even the recording kind of sounded really off.
- What in the bloody hell is that organ, they traded off one of the better organs for a rather deep note one...it doesn't sound good
- Is the ice really that bad in quality as of late? I noticed they had to "fix" the ice several times in tonight's game (VAN vs DET)

JLA didn't have an organ; the pieces they played were recordings. maybe of the old Olympia organ.
I pointed out to N2B on YouTube that the "goal horn" LCA is using sounds suspiciously like the one EA used for the Red Wings in NHL 17.

LCA has also updated their goal lights at each end and changed them from the original daktronics one to the block goal lights like Montreal and Calgary have at their arenas.

the Daktronics ones got "stuck" a few times. I was at the game against Tampa Bay and when the Lightning scored the goal light stayed on for a few minutes, they had to stop play until it could be shut off. and it didn't work right afterward.
plus, there are now cameras mounted above the end boards where the old goal lights were.
