Thunderbirds seems to be the it name for hockey teams this off-season. Not only did Springfield name their new AHL team it. The Federal Hockey League announced their Carolina team will be named the Thunderbirds. Also both teams are using T-Birds for their shortened twitter names. Even both logos have a similar feel to me.

Well the Carolina team should be called the bee's because 1. The NBA team the Charlotte Hornets have a bee theme and 2. The Amusment park near by Caroline's has a rollercoaster called fury 325 and its related to a bee or hornet. So the Carolina team should be renamed the bees and I think it will play along really well.

This is not well known and the Carolina Thunderbirds will probably fold or be suspended in a few years or even months.
