There are already a lot of comments asking why EA did not change the First Niagara Center to Key Bank Center. Some have even stated that the arena name change took place last month (August) so they should have had time to get it in the game.
At the time of this post (9/14/2016) the Sabre's arena is still officially known as First Niagara Center. The signage on the exterior of the building HAS been changed but the official name changed is coming sometime this month. The website is still under the old name and will be until the official change takes place.
Given that the game is already out, there was obviously no chance for the new arena name to make it in the game. However there may be hope that it could be updated in a future patch, provided that Key Bank Center will sign off on the licensing agreement.
Until that time may come, just be glad they left the old name on the ice rather than leave the area around the circle blank.
