So as most of us know the Islanders have had "issues" with the Barclay's Center and may leave or be evicted from there by the end of next season. So 2 arenas may be used for a short term till they could work out a new arena deal. Those arenas are Nassau Coliseum and Hartford's XL Center. What arena would you like them to play in temporarily.

I don't believe the Islanders have a choice on this. Hartford it is, even if it's extremely undesireable to league interests.

I think the move from Hartford was less about getting the Islanders there but more so about announcing to all struggling NHL teams that the government there wants to work with them to bring a team back. I think the Islanders will end up temporarily staying at the XL Center before another team comes in.

XL Center could be the Islanders' only option, but be the chance that the Izod Center isn't demolished and is instead opened back up, the Islanders could definitely have a temporary home there.

Pretty sure the Izod Center is pretty much empty inside already
